They run a well established operation. Had proof of insurance as requested with the quote, showed up properly geared with safety, did not make a lot of unnecessary yelling and noise. Worked the entire time besides a lunch break (could hear the saws). Jose and his crew were true professionals. Communication and coordination given the weather and my specific requests were top notch and pleasantly so. Sales/bid visit was best in class among other providers with over 100 reviews in 5-star category, he won't just tell you what he will do, he will point out exact branches and areas he will clear out in a way you cannot possibly misunderstand. They cared for my property and respected me and the property, as well as my neighbors' properties. They went out and put a tarp in the neighbor's property to prevent leaves and debris from making a mess by the pool and in the pool. Jose's team was on-time, careful about the work they did, did a great job on a 50+ year old pecan tree and an oak tree that's about the same age. I had a tree that was hit by lightening months ago. A family member assured me that I had plenty of time to get it cut down. Turns out the tree died FAST!! On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Houston had super high winds that took down a lot of trees and knocked out power. I promised myself then and there that I would move forward with getting estimates to have the tree removed. Servin's Tree Care was recommended to me by a colleague. They provided the fastest and most-economical estimate for the tree removal and stump grinding. They scheduled our tree removal for the following Monday, November 1st. They had a crew of three and artfully removed the tree without incident within four hours. A neighbor of mine had a tree in very close proximity removed (the stump remains) and it took that company two full days to remove and they dropped all kind of debris onto my roof and carport. We had the honor of meeting Jose before Hurricane Beryl that hit Houston on July 7th 2024, we had originally called him to trim our 200 yo Red Oak, he was in awe with the beauty of the tree, immediately noticed we had a momma woodpecker living up high in the tree which he said he would need to save/relocate before starting the trimming process. He was honest in his answers when we asked to trim more limbs of the tree.
