Jose's team was on-time, careful about the work they did, did a great job on a 50+ year old pecan tree and an oak tree that's about the same age. They removed a few branches that needed it and then trimmed all around. This was not only good for the tree, but needed to dead or nearly dead limbs won't fall on our roof during high winds. I had a tree that was hit by lightening months ago. A family member assured me that I had plenty of time to get it cut down. Turns out the tree died FAST!! On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Houston had super high winds that took down a lot of trees and knocked out power. I promised myself then and there that I would move forward with getting estimates to have the tree removed. Servin's Tree Care was recommended to me by a colleague. They provided the fastest and most-economical estimate for the tree removal and stump grinding. They scheduled our tree removal for the following Monday, November 1st. They had a crew of three and artfully removed the tree without incident within four hours. A neighbor of mine had a tree in very close proximity removed (the stump remains) and it took that company two full days to remove and they dropped all kind of debris onto my roof and carport. We had the honor of meeting Jose before Hurricane Beryl that hit Houston on July 7th 2024, we had originally called him to trim our 200 yo Red Oak, he was in awe with the beauty of the tree, immediately noticed we had a momma woodpecker living up high in the tree which he said he would need to save/relocate before starting the trimming process. They run a well established operation. Had proof of insurance as requested with the quote, showed up properly geared with safety, did not make a lot of unnecessary yelling and noise. Worked the entire time besides a lunch break (could hear the saws). Jose and his crew were true professionals. Communication and coordination given the weather and my specific requests were top notch and pleasantly so. Sales/bid visit was best in class among other providers with over 100 reviews in 5-star category, he won't just tell you what he will do, he will point out exact branches and areas he will clear out in a way you cannot possibly misunderstand. They cared for my property and respected me and the property, as well as my neighbors' properties. They went out and put a tarp in the neighbor's property to prevent leaves and debris from making a mess by the pool and in the pool. I can't say enough good about this company. They were not only the best price and very responsive and profession. Stayed in contact at all times and confirmed everything in advance. Very rare to have good communication even with todays technology. Showed up on time or before and did a spectacular job. I had tree trimmed and one taken out and the stump ground. Jose was quick to respond to my request. He came out promptly to access and give me a quote on the work that I wanted to get done. His quote was reasonable for the amount of work. We set a date to get it done. I had to change the date and he was agreeable to reschedule and on that date he was on time early with his crew. The work was done in a short amount of time. They cleared all the overgrown junk trees, trimmed trees and then cleared all the debris and hauled it away. When they finished I could actually see all the fence and the entire yard. Jose responded quickly when I requested a quote for a large branch holding on for dear life. He and his guys came by later that week and took care of it and some much needed thinning in a matter of hours. They have suggestions for future service but didn’t push adding on to that days job. Jose and his crew did an excellent job on trimming our oak tree in front of our house. He was very responsive and communicative prior to coming out. He was honest in his answers when we asked to trim more limbs of the tree. Yes he could’ve did what we asked for and charged us more but he gave us his thoughts on why we shouldn’t trim certain branches. The cleanup after all the trimmings was done was superb. I'm very happy with how my tree looks and way they worked throughout the project. They were very careful to avoid damage from falling limbs, especially over my roof. Servins tree care did a wonderful job. It’s been several years since our trees were trimmed. They were starting to grow over the roof which was just replaced a couple years ago. The guys are professional and amazing to watch. Jose has a very skilled crew! Price was good and I appreciate it very much. You could never even tell any work was done as the clean up was so good. I had my son laughing because I have some old raggedy silk flowers from last spring I put it my flower beds(saw it on hgtv)because this old arthritic grandma can’t garden any longer…and I told him the guys were even careful with those!
